Anybody ever deal with First Option Mortgage?

If so, how was it, were they reputable, anything newsworthy to say about them?

They are a broker, correct? How is your credit? I ask, because if it is good then I do not see the benefit of going through a broker rather than directly through your bank, or any bank for that matter.

Yeah, have great credit. I'm looking into doing a refinance with some cash out for some remodeling. The problem I'm finding with the local companies is closing costs are $3500 - $4000 which doesn't make sense to do when all I'm looking for is a $5000 cash out. Through First Option closing costs are only $900- $1200, depending upon how many years are financed.
