Unexplained Disappearing Characters

Who are some notable unexplained disappearances in tv shows.
"Family Matters" - there was another daughter "Judy Winslow" that disappeared without a trace.
"Step by Step" - two noticeable disappearances. Cody disappeared and was replaced on the show by the French Hairdresser. Little Brendan Lambert disappeared later in the show and was never explained.
"Saved by the Bell" - Kelly and Jesse disappear from the show when Tori joined the cast.
What are some other ones?

Richie Cunninghams brother on Happy Days.

That is the pilot's name. They changed the name when it was picked up.

Saved by the Bell first began as a pilot for NBC, and the name of the show was Good Morning, Miss Bliss (GMMB, for short). The GMMB pilot did air on NBC back in 1987 (it aired in The Facts of Life's timeslot).

No. SBTB had it's own pilot, with a character who disappeared. She was an Asian chick who was replaced by Kelly. Her name was Danielle.

Yeah I wasn't a huge fan of City Guys. I wouldn't mind seeing SBTB The new class again. I don't remember much about it.
