Try fish. Just make sure your grates are clean, and wipe them down withh oil before you put the fish on. Helps keep them from sticking and tearing apart. And slide a thin spatula under them real fast when your ready to turn them or take them off.
Most fish can be marinated and dropped straight onto the grill.

Fish is a good option. I also like to do either racks of
lamb or lamb lion chops. Have also done a boneless
leg of lamb.

i finally remembered to wipe my grill down w/ oil after i finished using it yesterday. i was told this will keep things from sticking to it the next time and will also "season" the grates.

I clean the grates at time of cooking. I bring the grill up to very high heat, and then wirebrush them clean. Then I take a paper towel, fold it into a square, pour veg oil on it, grab it with the tongs, and then wipe the grill generously until the grates glisten.
Sometimes it takes a few paper towels.
This method is particularly useful for those of us lazy bastards who refuse to clean up after we eat.

This is exactly how I do it.

yeah, that's how i've always done it too. my poor grill brush looks like it is partially melted.

I really like pork spare ribs. Like most pork, its cheap[er] than meat, full of fat and very forgiving. You can burn them, but its pretty hard to overcook them with the amount of fat they have on them.

Lamb Chops
Marinate in olive oil, a squeeze of lemon, and chopped mint for a couple of hours, turning them every thirty minutes, hit them with some salt and pepper and grill them to mid rare/med.

Ever tried grilled salad?
Geaux ahead and grill your steak or chicken like you normal do.
Cut Romaine lettuce in half (length wise) - leave the core in place. Season with olive oil, salt and pepper. Grill for 30 seconds. Flip. Grill for 30 seconds. Take off, chop, mix with meat and enjoy. Nothing special, very simple and good. If you want a heartier meal, I can possibly help come up with something there too.

Cut in half, put a little olive oil, cracked pepper and salt on a head of cabbage and put on the grill along with your other choices of meat, etc

I do a cabbage but I core it, salt and pepper then wrap in foil and put butter in the core. For about an hour.

I do the same if I'm out of Pam, but I usually use lard.

Beer n Brats.
1) Go to store and either get some out of the deli case (Whole Foods) or pick up some Johnsonville Brats.
2) Fire up your grill.
3) Put brats in a foil pan and then cover with beer. Then put pan over fire on the grill and let them boil for about 15 minutes.
4) Take the brats out of the beer and then over a direct fire to brown up.
5) Pour beer out of pan by tossing the beer on the lawn. Then add sauerkraut to the foil pan and put on grill on indirect heat.
6) After brats are browned up, return them to the foil pan with the sauerkraut.
7) Serve with a bun or by themselves.

grilled chicken pesto quesadillas. Marinate and grill your chicken like you normally would. Saute onions, bell pepper and garlic. Add desired amount of pesto to veggie mix, I prefer alot. Coat large tortillas lightly with olive oil on both sides. add veggie/pesto mix and strips of chicken to one side of tortilla. Also add shredded pepper jack cheese and shredded mozzarella. Fold tortilla and throw on grill long enough to lightly brown each side. serve and enjoy
