for those that live in or around Dallas...

we have 2 hotels booked right now.....one is the Sheraton in downtown Dallas and the other one is the holiday inn express right by the stadium in Arlington.

we would save a total of $180 by staying in Dallas.

What does the Rant suggest?

If you're interested in going out Friday night, then definitely Dallas.

Unless you are an OT baller, then save the 180

Arlington is a dump. Your choices for food will be limited to mostly chains and bars are few and pretty crappy. The drive to Arlington is easy and traffic won't be much of a problem getting to the game.

I live in the metroplex. If you're flying into the DFW area and are just interested in going to the game, then stay in Irving but if you want to hang out Friday and Saturday night, stay in Dallas close to downtown so you can hang out in uptown, midtown, or downtown. Lots more to do in a smaller radius than in Arlington. Downtown Ft. Worth would be my second choice. Arlington's got nothin'.

you ahould stay in Dallas Fri night and Arlington Sat - traffic will be a nightmare after the game and nobobdy is going to get to a Dallas bar till almost 1am (an hour before closing) Sat. Plus you can start tailgating Sat at 2pm in AC in your hotel as tailgating in the hot parking lots around the stadium is not fun

If you're willing to drive the extra 15 minutes, there's lots of great places to stay in Fort Worth and honestly that's the best scene to go out after the game. I went to high school in arlington and we never went to dallas. go to the stockyards
