I am having a boil this weekend( late in the season I know)
I know the traditional fixings; sausage, corn, onions, potato, mushrooms.I've done the artichoke and peanuts, and I know you can almost boil a shoe and it would taste good. Do any of you have suggestions for alternate things to throw in to the boil that turned out good? TIA

Chunk them eggs in there raw. They'll boil along with the bugs

I actually heard pineapple is good. I would guess to cut the outer part off and take out the little leftover whatchamacallits.

My brother in law poaches eggs in the boiling seasoned crawfish water...BUT...I am not going to spend all that money on crawfish and fill up on cheap arse eggs!

Anything other than corn, potatoes, garlic cloves, and mushrooms is sacrilege IMHO.

Whole, uncut pineapple. Boil it, soak it, then cut it into bite size pieces.
