What I mean by this is in games like Assassin's Creed, GTA, BLOPS, Infamous etc. how many of you beat everything there is to beat in the game?

I typically beat only the storyline, but I am thinking about trying to beat everything in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

I do as much as I can before I get bored. I tried to 100% LA Noire recently, but that was a struggle.

I've only got a few zombie related achievements in BLOPS and I'll have beaten it fully.

Achievements are such worthless things, but I just can't help myself. Seeing the message pop up is inexplicably gratifying.

I have conquered the Grand Theft Auto titles since III and most of the Donkey Kong Country games. Which is no easy task, there are a few others but these stick out in particular.

This is my 3000 post!!!

I always do everything possible in the Assassin Creed games. Tried for GTA, don't think I really finished.

Talking about a full 1000 gamer score or whatever PS3 has? Halo Reach, Halo 3 (plus some expansion), COD W@W (plus some expansion), Lost Via Domus, CSI Hard Evidence, King Kong, NBA 2K6, EA Sports Fight Night 3, and Madden NFL 06. Have a few that I am missing just one or two achievements on, but those are the ones I completed fully.

I hardly ever even beat the storyline...not for lack of skill I just usually get bored.

Currently I have in my possession
Red dead redemption
AC 2
AC Brotherhood (unopened)
La Noire
Uncharted

that I just quit about halfway through

the only non sports game that I own that I have beaten is GTA 4

This

The older I get, the less likely I am to finish games, it seems. The only game I have all 1000 points for is Civilization Revolution.

I just replayed Brotherhood and did everything, be prepared to be playing it for a while if you really want to do everything (like treasure chests and flags).

I tried to 100% Just Cause 2. Way too repetitive. I think I spent 20 hours just visiting random villages.

You should be able to finish it by then. Took me around 3 weeks to do it.

Same here. In fact the older I get I find I'm more into sports games. I'd rather just play a game of baseball or something. Just picked up the show and it's hard but really fun. There are still a few non-sports games I enjoy, I'm in the middle of AC: Brotherhood.

The closest I've come lately to beating a game completley is getting 84% on Arkham Asylum.

I don't have the time for games like Fallout anymore.

Now these are older games, so they might not be as tough as some of the newer ones. I beat everything in Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. There might be more, but those are the ones I can remember.

frick that.

I've never been someone who cares about achievements or doing everything there is to do in a game. I like the storylines and completing that. I do, however, beat the campaign of any multiplayer game before I play online.
