I actually just finished watching this. Not a very good movie. John C Reilly is the only funny character.

John C Reilly is pretty funny in it I think. The black dude has some moments.

Good for a wire reference.

It's got its moments, but overall I wouldn't pay to watch it.

I thought it was pretty funny, actually.

People north of me in Cedar Rapids were pissed because there is only like 30 seconds of footage actually from CR.

All in all, it was ok. Good for a few laughs.

It was pretty good, I thought. It was a bit uncomfortable, but you know, it's Ed Helms.

I couldn't get through it. It was boring me, so I started the sopranos season one

If John C Reilly is in it, I'll watch it. That guy is money in comedies.

I would imagine it's boring and depressing considering the setting.

Cedar Rapids is just a terrible place to be if you find yourself there

It starts off slow but gets really good later on. I had low expectations but ended up really liking this movie.

I am a big fan of independent features (though this one was likely a studio film), but I walked out of it along with another Sundance "winner" Away We Go.... and i like all of the actors in both films, but found them to be insufferable on the big screen.

I watched this movie last night. I can't believe all the hate it is getting in this thread.

John C Reilly was great. He actually annoys me when he is teamed up with Will Ferrell, because he tries too hard to be Will Ferrell. He was great in this though as the in your face bathroom humor guy who thinks he is the cool guy of the convention.

Ed Helms did a good job as the straight laced naive character, and I enjoyed Isaiah Whitlock as Ronimo.

Anne Heche was a little underwhelming, but it didn't really take away from the movie. I laughed pretty hard at some of the scenes.

It wasn't a great movie, but if you are in the mood for a new comedy it beats most of the options out there.

What John C Reilly brings to comedies is what Kevin Costner brings to baseball movies, utter greatness
