True. And I'm not condoning the game in any way, but the story behind the motives of making the game is pretty interesting.

The "Pico's School" flash game from Newgrounds came out much closer to the Columbine shooting, but few complained because there was comparatively little media focus on the internet.

i remember attempting to build a map on CS based around our school and then killed the idea b/c of the columbine effect
the map was just b/c our school had a cool layout for a CS map, it had nothing to do with shooting up the school

The coolest CSS maps I ever played on were a complete replica of the Chernobyl plant and a huge mansion that you could easily get lost in.
