Credit card debt, or voting for Obama. Everyone I talk to pays off their credit cards every month, and didn't vote for Obama...

Do people just lie, or, are the people I talk to just financial and political studs?

If you are LA, your demographic probably didn't vote for him at all.

Credit card debt,

Some definitely have debt but that is a pretty personal thing that they probably won't be shouting out loud.

I tend to surround myself with people who are like me. Financially responsible and politically educated. You subconsciously do the same thing I am willing to bet.

You just need to meet some youngsters...I myself have no cc debt and didn't vote for Obama, but I have friends who are in debt up to their eyeballs and voted for Obama and love to brag about it.

If you are young and your friends aren't that smart, you probably have more friends in debt up to their arse that you know.

Not sure why people don't admit it more on these boards. Lord knows we have enough whiney arse guys on the OT letting everyone know how horrible their marriages and love lives are.

Have you ever heard anyone say "Let me tell you how much money I lost at the Casino last night."

Didn't vote for Obama. And I've only got 1 credit card, and one store (Best Buy) card. The two combined have a max of about $4,000 (90% of that is BB card).

I don't pay them off every month, but then again, I don't really carry anything on them.

No credit card debt, did not vote for Obama, and am not afraid to let people know when I take a beating at Harrah's.

Well, I didn't vote for Obama but I do have credit card debt. However, they are charging me 0% interest for 13 more months so I have no reason to pay it off just now.
