My guess would be a runner since we are supposedly going back to the run first scheme.
Ware is my pick.

About time. That pass-happy offense from the last couple of years was getting old.

Trent Richardson, Andrew Luck, LeMichael James,Landry Jones, probably a few non-AQ RBs we haven't heard of yet, maybe a couple of other guys who have big games like an Aaron Murray or a Denard Robinson.
But getting to the National Championship won't significantly change the likelihood of any of our players being mentioned, any more than it did in '07 or '03. Our team is not (and has not been for quite some time) built in a manner conducive to Heisman campaigns. We simply don't rely on one horse enough to produce the numbers and consistent big playmaking for one player to get that kind of attention. The closest shot we have would likely be if either Jefferson or Lee have that quantum leap in performance or Mettenberger actually steps up and starts, and teams still insist on playing the run against us for several games. That might give whoever the QB is enough opportunity for huge games early on to get the ball rolling, then consistently strong performances down the stretch to keep him in the race. But that would be a long shot, even if our QB played that well.

From that frickshow 5 wide spread that none of the players understood (or coaches for that matter)

Happy for the other team maybe.....clown...
I'll go check your posts and see what you've had to say about our offense in the past.....

Even if our offense improves significantly, I don't see anyone putting up big enough numbers for consideration. The only way I could see it happening is with an all-purpose kind of player.

You know, an NC contender doesn't necessarily HAVE to have a Heisman contender. See the 2003 and 2007 NCs.

No, my sarcasm was in reference to the idiocy of your op. You stated that we are going back to a run first offense. How can we go back to something we never left?
