I know its Auburn talk on an LSU board but I figured it was relevant cuz LSU had offers out to both these guys.

According to scout, auburn lands commitments from running back T.J. Yeldon and Wide receiver Jaquay Williams.

Didn't really expect either but did think we had a legitimate shot at Jaquay. He was of the top receivers I wanted that I felt like we actually had a shot at. Don't know if we have room for one more bit if so I guess my new hope is D'vario Montgomery from Florida. Even though Alonzo Moore or Dwayne Benjamin would be more realistic and I'd be fine with either one of those. Like I said IF they take one more

Yeldon never looked at LSU, and for what he is, a tall RB, Borque is just as good.

And with Ja'Quay, i think he would have considered us more had we recruited him harder but his grades are a concern. I think we will continue to monitor him and his grades and if its not a concern, and we have a good season this year offensively and overall, who knows what could happen?

As a running back, I agree that Borque is just as good as Yeldon. What sets Yeldon apart is his versatility. A Rivals evaluator said he'd still be a 4* if he played WR or safety.

I thought he would stay pretty open even after he committed, but at his press conference he said "if you had a girlfriend, would you want her to be checking out other guys and seeing what's out there? I wouldn't, so I'm not gonna do that to Auburn". I think he'll stay solid.

Same goes for Borque. We recruited him as a WR first. I for one still think he ends up there.

JaQuay would have visited LSU, but the storms that week of the terrible tornados in Alabama prevented him from making the trip. Mother Nature is one cruel bitch

Looks like he could play LB as well.

Hey Memphis..

I am hearing that JJ's youngest brother is probably the best out of all three of them.

I was talking to a buddy of mine who knows Jj's dad. Apparently Rickey is not Jordan's biological brother. It is his cousin. But Jordan's younger brother who is (11-13) a freakishly good athlete.

Also hearing that Rickey wants a Bama offer. I know he still has a couple of years but he likes the idea of playing for Saban.
