For some reason i posted this and it went to the wrong board. It was posted on the OT board by accident.

Both of you started it too early. I'm waiting for the official official thread from HH, Jersey or Gmorgan.

I had Bud products. However, these cans rock.

What this team needs is more Bornstein. No, seriously, Boca at LB is dead. Over. Either Bornstein or Lichaj, it has to happen. If I have to watch Boca get the ball on the left, stand around for little bit, and then hit a high, lofted chip cross into the box any more I'll turn off the TV. Defenders literally have time to laugh out loud before they casually clear the ball out of the box.

And hopefully for the first time ever Bob learns lessons between matches and doesn't wait till the second half to change things.

Bornstein will get a shot, but I just can't remember him ever doing anything positive (minus Costa Rica goal, obvs). He seems to only have sucky or not sucky games, never good.

I'd favor Lichaj. Works harder, better defender. Hell, Cherundolo has sent in some nice left footed crosses, put him over there and Lichaj at right back.

I just KNEW that Ream would come out of the Panama game at half. With Bocanegra moving to CB and Bornstein to play LB. He didn't do that tho. I was surprised.

Probably.

Probably not.

I don't think anyone in the pool works harder than Bornstein. I'd imagine that's one of the reasons he's kept around.

Granted his work:production ratio leaves a bit to be desired, but still.

I'm completely serious about getting somebody in there for Boca at LB.

Even though Bornstein was awful with the ball at his feet against Paraguay if you watched closely his movement was causing them problems. Because with somebody providing width it didn't allow them to collapse in around Dempsey. When its Boca and Dempsey on the left we are so static, its just easy to defend against. Even if Lichaj or Bornstein don't do anything with the ball when they get it, just them making attacking runs opens things up.

Boca meanwhile just is an outlet on the left. He doesn't do anything dangerous at all and those lofted crosses

We need to attack tonight.
