20 years ago we won our first one. June 8, 1991, was also the birth of my baby sister. Great day!

Which was your dad more happy about?

LSU winning it's first baseball title, or your little sister?

Its so strange cause I was a little kid, my parents are from up north originally so I had no connection to LSU until I went there. I remember watching this on ESPN and thinking how bad that sucked for Miami. Now I just love it.

I had only moved to LA a few years before that, and wasn't a huge fan yet. After following that CWS, that was the day I fell in love with LSU.

I was so nervous watching that game and I was drinking beer like a fish. My girlfriend at the time was clueless to LSU baseball. When Warren hit that homerun I just in the air hit the ceiling fan, then ran outside my apartment screaming like a crazy fool. Then within seconds there were 20 guys in the parking lot going crazy. I will never forget that day.

My 17 yr old son was just a baby sitting in my lap. I remember jumping up out my seat and tossing him up in the air, glad I caught him....
