...and no one started a thread? It's obviously kind of slow around here.

What's the name of the busiest TCU board? I couldn't find it elsewhere.

I just received a message from McFarland stating that he has not decommitted from TCU.

Yes, but I don't think he even worked out.

Does he even have an LSU offer?

Where are you seeing this? Scout says he's still committed and rivals doesn't say he has decommitted.

Yeah, that's what I thought. He's being watched very closely though.

In the end is anyone really surprised a West Monroe standout really likes the Tigers. It was a surprise in March when defensive end James McFarland committed to play for TCU. However things have officially changed today...

I don't think he's decommitted. When he said he "opened things back up" it was mistakenly taken as a decommit by rivals.

Let's be real here. We all know what it really means.

Well they asked him if he has decommitted and he said he wasn't sure and would have to get back to them on whether or not he's still committed.

Bottom line...if LSU offers, then he's a Tiger

This is true. As a Frog fan, every recruit that we've gone after in the state, we've had to sweat out the decommit if LSU offered. I would say that McFarland will end up at TCU only if LSU doesn't offer. I think that Chuck Hunters committment to TCU makes the Frogs McFarland's "plan b" if LSU doesn't offer. It seems that LSU has allready added 3 very good defensive linemen in this class, so McFarland may miss-out on his offer.

I don't know how good he is but he is very impressive looking in person. Not much fat on him for a d- lineman.
