Let me first please leave the Shreveport sucks bullshite out. We just got Otis back and I'd hate to lose him again. Anyways..taking a first date here(said she had been wanting to try), any reviews?? Suggestions on the menu?? She said she looked forward to trying their carrot souffle. TIA

I'll report back after I get home. Preferably in the morning

I'm interested to hear the answer. My wife and I are staying in Shreveport the Sunday night after the Oregon game.

carrot souffle.

My favorite thing there. Get it for dessert.. it's heavy and rich for a side item.

I love everything there. The Bleu Cheese Chips are great.

Reuben sandwich, Bistro Bomber, Veggie Gratin, Debris Sandwich.. all great.

Thanks a ton...being a lady, is the atmosphere conducive to some panty dropping behavior after dinner?

Very much so. It's a win/win because it's adorable and girly, yet inexpensive for your wallet :D

I haven't been in a while, but I've never had/heard of a bad meal there. Very casual, an like LL said, easy on the wallet. Try their vodka freezes.

A side note- David Toms is a partner in the Shreveport store.

Unless you're in high school, I wouldn't consider BB "panty dropping." I'm a huge fan, but it's a great lunch place...I wouldn't go there for a dinner date when you're hoping to drill it after.

Never realized you were such a trollop, LL.

I interpreted his question as his macho way of asking if a girl would like it. And yes.. I think a girl would.

I guess I shouldn't have assumed he was young, but I did for some reason.. so I know upscale places aren't always an option for college kids

Thanks, LL. It was an attempt at humor more than anything but I guess fury didn't find it that funny. And I guess I'm fairly young(25). Anyways, I had the Abita chop..pan roasted asparagus..and red potatos. The chop was terribly over cooked but had great flavor. Asparagus was nice but the potatos were a little crunchy. Once again, tasted great, but not cooked well. She had a sandwhich of some kind and the carrot souffle. I would go back for the carrot souffle alone. Thank you for all the help and suggestions. We had a great time and I would for sure visit again.

I wouldn't consider Byronz a "panty dropping" place, it is a bit too casual with the TVs on the wall, but with that said, it is one of our favorite places for a cheaper dinner. My wife has become obsessed with the Debris sandwich. I had an awesome Bruschetta burger last time.

Actually, the last time we went, it was pretty busy, moreso than normal, and there was a very loud group at the bar. Well this prom couple was sitting next to us, and they were barely talking to each other, both were very awkward. I kept telling my wife that he should have stepped it up and brought her somewhere nice if wanted a piece after the dance.
