I'm looking for a kennel to put my dog in during the day. It'll be inside an extra room I have. I cant just leave him in the room for fear he'll chew the A/C cord and electrocute himself. He's a small dog and I only need some thing about 4'x6'x4'.

I've been to a few places, Academy, Petco, Sac's(in Gonzales) and Old time feed supply. Sac's has one similar but they want $195. The other stores just have the 6' high ones. Which I don't need. I thought about just calling a fence company and see if they'd make one.

Any help is appreciated

I bought the Remeington one from Academy from my Catahoula. Works fine other than it's too big for him right now. He'll grow into it. I got bashed on the OT for not getting one with a partition from petco.

That's a big arse cage. I use this LINK and it comes with the partition so I can adjust it until she gets bigger. If you are looking for something that big (4 feet long x 6 feet wide x 4 feet high) you could try a play pen. But keep in mind the idea behind the 'crate' is it's just big enough for them to stand up, turn around, etc. If it's too big they can shite/piss on one side and hangout on the other. If it's the right size they will hold it.

Sounds like you are looking more for a pet pen rather than kennel

When I think kennel it's a plastic dog crate, which is just fine for dogs by the way. A previous poster hit the nail on the head get one that is just big enough for them to turn around in and they will never go to the bathroom in it. Don't let anyone lie to you it is NOT inhumane to keep a dog in a crate, most like it.
