Anyone have any experience with them other than .22 rimfire. Looking more along the lines of the M77 Mark II Stainless.

I've had a M77 Mark II since 1996...bought it new from Sports Unlimited on Sherwood....some guys here will rememeber how cool that place was.

Great gun, can be quite accurate. I have a target hung next to my desk- 1.375 group at 300 yards.

But, as anyone is sure to tell us....THE TRIGGER SUCKS. It's almost bizzare that Ruger thought it was ok to sell a gun with that shitty of a trigger. It takes a lot to pull it and sometimes I think really hurts my groups. But, I've been too lazy over the last 15 years to do anything about it.

ETA....I've heard that the poor trigger has been addressed on the Hawkeye, maybe someone here has one and can comment.

I'm currently customizing my Mini thirty, aside from an AR it's the most fun gun I have ever shot, and very reliable.

Never been a fan. As was said, the triggers have historically sucked. BUT other then that I don't really know why I have never been a fan. Just one of those things I guess.

I've had one in. 308 for about 15 yrs. Good gun, like has been said, the trigger is the only complaint and that's fixable

I have a 10/22 and an SR9 handgun. The triggers on both have a heavier pull than any of my other brands of firearms. Does Ruger do that as a safety thing?

Just read an article on the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle. Seems like an interesting concept.
