The local team is playing for the championship of the Central Hockey League. They are up three games to two over Colorado. Next two games are in Colorado with the first this Wednesday.

Go "bugs".

I was at game 5 in the CenturyTel Center Friday night. The crowd wasn't as big as I was hoping it would be, but the fans there knew hockey and are really relentless. There's a passionate core fan base, and overall it was a really fun experience. Here's hoping they take one in Colorado!

Did not get to see the game.

My Knights of Columbus Council was working one of the concession stands.

It sounded really loud.

Aeros won back in 99 and 02. This year the Aeros are in the AHL Western Conference finals. Series tied 3 all with game 7 Tuesday night in the Toyota Center.

I was at Tues nights game and the crowd was very sparce. I knew it was a Tues and all, but it was the first home game of the final round. I hated the Hirsh, but at least it always looked packed. I remember sellouts there for Bugs games, the CTC is just so cavernous, but ill take it still...

The Aeros close off the top part of the Toyota Center so it's not so bad.
