LSU is in...at this point it's just a question of where and what seed (2 or 3)?

This article makes me a little nervous-but I still feel confident that we will get in.

I think we will get in as long as there isn't a rash of upsets in conference tourny's all over the country!
But there will be a few upsets, there always are!
If I was an Ole Miss fan I wouldn't be confident at all because they need alot to go right, while we need a few things to break our way!

Etheridge's article nails it. For LSU's case, it is no more important for, say, UGA/Auburn to lose than it is for Stetson to win their tourney.
LSU is in already, though, imo.

But even though we missed the SEC tourney, our RPI is higher than a lot of at large teams that will be 2 seeds.
There are lower teams on the pecking order that have to worry about the conference tourney champions before LSU.

Many have wondered if Georgia and Auburn do not get eligible, would those two spots then go to conference mates LSU and Ole Miss. While it could play out that way, the two spots vacated by the .500 boys would be available for any bubble team. LSU and Ole Miss will be measured against the other bubble teams, not just each other and their SEC brethren.
If you are a bubble team like LSU (RPI #25) and Ole Miss (RPI # 41) whose regular season is complete, you must put on your fan hat and pull for regular season champions and against underdogs and other bubble teams.

but the SEC as a whole has too high of an RPI to where they would take less than 8.

I'll still be pulling for or against those teams in the article. When you leave your fate in the hands of the committee, nothing is 100% certain.

Bubble teams should be setting up voodoo dolls for these teams to lose games this week: (It is just an expression. Please LSU fans, don't really do this)

Cajuns are off the bubble, IMO. We have to win the tournament now, we fricked up by blowing a lead to ULM on Sunday. We went from potentially 49 in RPI to 60.

It was in response to the previous post and you don't tell me what to do. So... no.
