I'm just glad someone had the balls to say Sharper.
Without him on that defense, I don't know if the Saints would have made that amazing run.

Without Brees on the offense, they wouldn't have come close. Plus Brees has played at a high level for 5 years as a FA, Sharper looks like a one and done for us. I don't agree with Harrison at all, he was an UDFA I believe, which is sort of it's own category, though he's certainly an elite player. QB is also > DE/OLB. The Vick one is just plain retarded.

Yeah the Vick and Harrison ones are two arse clowns who are attempting miserably to be unique. There is no way in hell anyone even pretending to be objective could list anyone but Brees.
I DO think Kurt Warner to AZ was the 2nd best and if he would have had more in the tank/been 3-5 years younger would have rivaled Brees to the Saints....although they probably wouldn't have gotten him for so cheap then.

I fully understand that without Brees, the Saints would not have been close. However, it wasn't until Sharper and Williams showed up that they started playing championship caliber defense.
BTW, Brees is the best FA pickup, EVER. Sorry Reggie White.
