Georgia currently is 25-26, if they win today win this week, then probably get swept.

they will be 27-28, so if they don't win 3 in hoover they can't be eligible for the post season

does this help our chances of making a regional?

Thats a little confusing, but yeah, it might help if we hold our side up.

Barring a meltdown where we lose 3 or 4 of our final 4 games (not counting New Orleans, we will crush them) we are in the NCAAT. Even if we lose 3 of 4 SEC games left we might be in the NCAAT. Our RPI is extremely high at 24. Losing 3 of final 4 games will probably drop us to around 30-32ish.

so you are saying SEC tourney only helps our seeding.

we may be 3 if we don't make the sec tourney

we could be 1 or 2 if we win the sec tourney

If Georgia doesn't finish above .500 (can't finish at .500) and doesn't make a regional, it would help us and every other bubble team. It will just be one less at large team in the mix.
