What Did You Catch For Dinner...

Friday:
NOAA forecast was 1-2... Mobile Bay was 2-3...

The channel at the mouth ...3-5... ..fml

Hey, I got dinner before we had to run back from the storm though. I got the trigger. ( I told you it was limited.)

On a side note, I'm sure glad that Red Snapper is protected because that is what we mostly caught and they were all larger than anything else we caught.....

We threw back @ 8 Red Snapper @15-20lb...

Fished the lower Tampa Bay area this morning, caught a good number of trout. Nothing particularly large, but a fun morning..

And a couple of Lane's. The guy I was fishing with is so pissed about Red snapper season being so short and closed that he won't throw anything legal back.

One of those Beeliners was 11 inches.

I don't fish saltwater so I have a serious question. What's the "protection" on them? Is there a slot?
