I know there are millions of cubic feet per second being diverted. I just look at this one pic and it appears to be a very minimal amount of water. Is there more intell out there as to the corps process?

I'll hang up and listen.

Not the case. As of 1pm yesterday, 100,000cfs was being diverted.

The river itself is only flowing 1.25 million cfs at New Orleans.

Ahhh, so the report that Millions cfs will need to be diverted has not occurred yet. What i'm seeing is a tiny pressure valve and more will be diverted as the river rises? sorry I do not know why I cannot wrap my brain around the "who, what, where, and how much" of this epic flood.

I read in the TP that BCS maxes at 200K, and Morganza can divert up to 600K.

BCS is designed for 250kcfs and Morganza 600kcfs but more could be diverted depending on head pressure on river side.

The CORP is opening the BCS slowly. At the flowing the river increase so does the amount of water diverted until every bay of the BCS is open then the river controls how much water is diverted.
