What a joke. With or without pay, who cares. 5 games is nothing for Bynum and the Lakers.

I saw on Sportscenter that the National Basketball Association has decided to suspend current Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum 5 games next season without pay. If you need a link for proof, well I'm sorry, you're just gonna have to take my word for it.

Seems like a fine suspension to me, and I hate Bynum. I expected five games and a bit of a fine.

They should have used this opportunity to send a clear message.....well, it really seems they sent a clear message. 5 Games? Really? Most of America would agree this would have been the time to suspend him for a minimum of 10 games.

people are too sensitive anymore.

he lost his cool. nobody got hurt. he's losing the first five games and a lot of money.

people make mistakes in this world and people will only settle for lynchings.

well he makes a shite-ton of money

should've been a 10 game suspension, imo. the money he makes/loses is inconsequential.....

Kenny brought up a good point during the postgame show. Said if something like this happens and the victim gets injured, the offender should get suspended for the amount of time the victim has to sit out. ie: if JJ would've broken his wrist from that hit and missed 25 games, then Bynum would have to sit/be fined for the same amount of time. obviously there aren't 25 games left during these playoffs, and that rule will unfortunately never come to fruition.....still a valid point made by the jet though.
