Any good places OTHER than Rock n Sake?

Me and my girls are looking for a cute place to go this weekend but want to stay downtown...open to places other than sushi, just want something kinda cozy and unique. Help me out F&D board!

TIA

I had been at Finn's since 6:45am. I didn't want to see anyone.

I've always heard Horinoya is good, although parking is kind of scarce in that area. My dad clerked and worked at the law firm that's on the 2nd floor of the same building as Horinoya for a long time but has been self-employed for 20 years.

I'm always looking for new sushi places because the ones I'm accustomed to going to get old after a while. Wasabi is Lakeview is pretty good and convenient for sushi without having to go WHD or Uptown.

Glassman should make a Nola restaurant guide.
