is fish trash good to put in a compost pile??

I'm thinking NO on any meat in a compost pile. Manure and veggie wast only

Of course it would add to it. But can you take the smell....

It will decompose fine and adds lots of carbon and nitrogen. However, it will also often result in your pile being rummaged by coons and cats.

I never put meat products into my pile.

If I have fish or shrimp shells left over, sometimes I will dig a hole in my garden and put them directly in to break down.
