Braves prospect right-hander Julio Teheran will make his major league debut Saturday against the Phillies.

We knew the Braves were likely going to call up a spot starter because of the doubleheader earlier this week, but we didn't expect to see Teheran until much later in the season. The 20-year-old right-hander is widely considered one of the best pitching prospects in all of baseball. He's sporting a 1.80 ERA and 25/8 K/BB ratio over his first five starts with Triple-A Gwinnett this season. He's only expected to stick around for one start, so don't fall over each other on the waiver wire. Still, it's a pretty cool sneak preview, if nothing else.

He threw yesterday. Just a spot start for JT, so the rotation can stay on 5 days rest
