truly an inspiration ... I wonder if he has a good chance to make it back to the NFL ... I hope so! What a story that would make!
Even if he doesn't play a down in the NFL, he still signed the contract and should have gotten the insurance ... and he should be set for life!

I really hope he can play again, but for him to say he still has no feeling in his foot will be very hard to practice at full speed/contact for a while. It's amazing in itself that he can do what he's doing right now. If he were to play again I think that would be the greatest comeback ever. God does work miracles tho

this injury and the chance that he can perform anywhere close to what he was prior to the wreck, can anyone put that into perspective? can he ever be back to what he was before? was he such a freak athlete and so talented that he can compete in the nfl being 75-80% of what he was?

It doesn't look like it but he's already beaten the odds once, he could do it again. No matter what he does he's already accomplished alot in his recovery and even if he never steps foot on a football field again he still is inspiring.

Of course, I hope Chad makes it back on the football field, but I hope he doesn't rule out baseball as a second option if necessary.

wow...for the amount of trauma his leg went through it looks very good. Even better though is the attitude that he has been able to carry throughout this ordeal. Those squats he was doing in the BOSU are no joke, those are tough for someone with two normal ankles. Definitely proud of this kid - he represents his family, himself and LSU well.

You really can't help but love that guy.
