Going to get an M&P 9mm this week and i wanted to get your opinion on whether or not i should get the one with the magazine safety, the one with the internal lock and magazine lock or just the plain jain one? What's your thoughts?

I never seen a thread/article about how to install a magazine safety, but I've seen a whole hell of a lot on how to remove them.

+1 Plane jane, no locks is the way I would go. With that being said my M&P has the magazine safety and it doesn't keep me awake at night. Not my first choice though.

I have a .40 with the magazine safety. Don't really look at it as much of an issue.

Anything more complicated than and thumb lever is a waste of time.

I never liked the idea of a magazine safety.

ETA: BTW, my friend owns a 9mm M&P. It is one of my fav. handguns to shoot. I preferred it over the USP and Sig we were shooting as well. Quality firearm.
