Was wondering if anyone ever fished here. I'm talking about that last exit on I-10 before you go across the spillway. There's a creek that runs parallel to that spillway levee for miles. I used to make a killing on sacalait with my family as a kid there. Just fished from the bank there with worms and a cork. It's been years since I've been back. Lemme know if anyones has fished there.

this is actually Ramah. Never fished there, but a shite ton of folks sitting on 5 gallon buckets with cane poles seem to think its a honey hole

stop at the little stop-n-rob on the north side of I10 and ask the cashier what the fishing is like.
You can get a luke warm beer there too

Ha! Sounds like I should bring a few cases of beer out there and make it a day. Used to be fun with my folks.

Use to bass fish way back in my younger days. I haven't fished there in over 20 years as of now.

I've bass fished there several times. It's hit or miss. Never pulled anything big out of there. Have had a couple of 20+ days but most 12-14" fish.
