Watched it on netflix last night and shut it down after 30 min. I thought it was terrible. Anyone else? Thoughts?

It sucked. The one time I laughed was Adam Sandler's crack about Chris Rock looking like an anorexic Michael Vick.

It is one of the unfunniest terrible movies I have ever seen. Just not funny at all.

I'm really surprised so many people on this board have seen it. I'll watch a shitty drama, horror, action movie since usually they have some redeeming value in the terribleness, but bad comedies do not have this. They just suck.

Watched it about a month ago. Could not believe how unfunny it was with all the potential it had based on the cast. It seemed like it was written by 5 year olds.

It wasn't a great comedy or anything, but I don't get the outright hate it gets. I usually am not very critical of a movie though and accept it for what it is. I laughed at quite a few parts, and other times I was like this is a really stupid scene. But at no point was I like, I need to turn this shite off. It's Adam Sandler. Of course it's going to be 90 minutes of fart jokes.

I thought it sucked. I watched the whole thing unfortunately. With the actors involved you would think the story line and production value wouldn't have been so cheesy.

I only watched it because a friend insisted it would be good. 10 minutes in we both wanted to turn it off but we gutted through it just to see how bad it was.

What I don't get is why they make movies mostly geared towards kids but then they have to throw in a few vulgar scenes to appeal to immature adults and it just doesn't work as a comedy. you have to choose what you want to be and do it well. You can't serve two masters.
movies like sandlot that appeal to kids and keep the lowbrow stuff out of it are far funnier movies than these pieces of crap like Grown Ups

The funniest thing about that movie was the junket appearance on "Extra" when a snake wandered onto the set.
