has anybody seen this movie? It is pretty funny. Based off true events.
The book was really funny...especially the audio version where the real guy is actually telling the story.

I'm a few chapters into the book right now. Plan on finishing it off over the weekend. So far, I'm loving it. Haven't seen the movie, though.

I mean, yeah, you know his stories are too good to be true, but he sure knows how to write!

Yeah the movie is nothing like the book. That is why the book is 10xs better. The movie took several of his stories and combined it into one weekend. It did a damn good job of combining those stories because it was freakin hilarious.

not bad for a Law student. He graduated like top of his class in Duke Law.

the movie is shite.
i read the book a few years ago. decent enough, but I'm glad I didn't pay money for it.

good writer? yes
the fact you believe anything that he says, at all (including his Duke law school ranking), is fricking priceless.
not to be a dick, but one of my law professors was in his class and he was not top 10. ask anybody in law school: everyone knows who the top 10 are in law school.
what's also telling is he doesn't claim it in his achievements on his website.

The movie was okay. Saw it on TMC the other night. Loosely followed the books stories. Acting was so-so, but it was funny for what it was.
Seeing the diahrea scene in the hotel lobby was pretty sick, oh and his quest for the hot midget (though I hope the irl midget was hotter than the actress)

My buddy read the book not to long ago and was telling me all about it and how it was one of the funniest books ever. So he proceeds to tell me the diarrhea scene, and all I could think was yeeeeeah I'm calling bs on this one.

I laughed my arse off reading that book. The movie did not live up to my expectations, but thought it was funny anyway.

Decent enough book. Unfortunatly, my friends describe me as Slingblade 2.0

Bridget "The Midget" Powers is hot.

I enjoyed the book. Thought the movie was pretty terrible tho

Movie sucked. Dudes "I'm an inteligent smart arse whose humor is above your comprehension" routine got tired and stale after the first 30 minutes. Good to see that Traci Lords is still hot though.

The girl that played the fiance was hot. Keri Lynn Pratt.

I hated this book with a burning passion.
I thought he was a complete and utter dick, and not the funny kind. I hated him.
I made it through about 4 chapters and put it down never to pick it up again.
