Spencer ware has a great bowl game and looked great in the Spring game. Clearly he's a heisman candidate.

Watch him run. It tells you a lot about his talent. Powerful, fast, moves, balance, great vision.. he's got it all.. something we haven't seen in years at LSU.

Heisman talk is absolutely premature.. but it won't be next year

Ware is definitely the most complete back that LSU has had in a while.

He can run inside and outside. He is a very good receiver out of the backfield, and he could play QB in a wildcat formation if LSU decided to work that in some. Not sure how good of a blocker he is in pass protection but I would think he would be able to pick that up rather well.

I know he has the ability but the sarcasm was aimed at the OP, he would have to break records to win the heisman this year. Now if he has a great year and the national media starts to take notice then his junior year he would be set for a campaign.

Who were Mark Ingram and Cam Newton before their Heisman seasons?

Not necessarily IMO. With the amount of LSU games that will be nationally televised by ESPN/CBS/etc, he could become a household name very quickly with some very good performances. Not saying he will win the Heisman, but it is a lot easier to win it as a relatively unknown when you comes from a school that is always on national TV.

Then you should get my sarcasm as the OP when i request you read the OP, as it did not constrain in any way to 2011, and in fact went out of the way to expand it for his time at LSU.

Like some people say on here, he is a complete back and all aspects of his game are above average.

Speed
Elusiveness
Explosion/Acceleration
Catching
Power
And since he played QB his throwing accuracy is definitely above average for his position.

I don't know about blocking either haven't paid to much attention to that myself, but Ware Shep and JJ in wildcat formation will be a sight to see.
