Spinnerbait/Buzzbait Storage
Posted by Boats n Hose on 4/10/11 at 6:28 pm00
Right now I use a Bass Pro XPS box like this, but it doesn't fit in my tackle bag.
It's fine for fishing from the boat but for bank fishing it would be nice to have something that can clip onto my bag or fit in it. I'm thinking maybe a worm binder or something similar. What do y'all keep your spinnerbaits and buzzbaits in?

I've got an old shitty tacklebox with a bottom like that and a top that can hold some cranks, jigs, etc.

I looked at the Falcon one when I got the one I have, but it looks like you have to bend the spinnerbait's wires to make em fit. Plus I'd have to do some serious reorganizing to stuff another box in my bag
The binder is looking like a really good idea though.

It is kind of funny that you posted this. I was at academy today looking for something that would store spinnerbaits and would fit in my tacklebox, and I considered posting something here to see if anyone had a better solution.
I am thinking of making my own thing/modifying one of the plastic storage bins that fits in my tacklebox.
If I come up with anything worthwhile I'll post pictures.

After looking around online a bit I found this spinnerbait wallet. Looks perfect for what I need. I think I'll order one after the semeseter ends.

I use the Falcon boxes. The wire does have to be bent down to put them in but the wire is really just "flexed" for lack of a better term. I've never had a wire stay bent when I took a bait out and I've been using the box for a couple years.
