Seems Jordan has made a lot of improvements due to his own hard work. Good for him. Hope it all pays off for him.

A proven commodity when it comes to developing quarterbacks, Kragthorpe immediately zeroed in on Jefferson’s fundamentals.

“He’s just more of a quarterbacks coach, and it’s the small things that he’s emphasized the most,” Jefferson said. “I’m taking advantage of those small things, like footwork and technique, and that’s helped me throw the ball as consistently as anything.

“These are things we emphasize on every rep in every practice. Your footwork is what defines your throws, and my footwork is so much better.

“I just feel 10 times better than I ever did last year.”

... not so fast, my friend! You can't improve from quick, good timing release. He may have to use his wheels more to step up.

i read this before i posted the "same thing we heard last year" post. which has been misinterpreted. me poking fun at the metterberger jock straps and negatigers somehow turned into something completely different. regardless i am very pleased with everything i have heard this offseason involving jj.

Whether you love him or you hate him...he seems to be the QB that's going to lead us next season. I truly hope he has progressed as much as people say.

They said the same thing last year.

I'll just reserve my enthusiasm until the season starts and remain cautiously hopeful.

He has already thrown more TD's in spring practice than all of last year!

So he'll be a better option than Andrew Hatch, Jarret Lee, and his former self? That's saying alot

All that matters is will the improvements carry over against Oregon or will he revert to his old bad habits once the lights shine brightest.

LSU rising junior Jordan Jefferson struggled throughout the spring

Miles admitted Jefferson has some work to do in the offseason.

these were just two excepts from the first posting you had and I am sure that the other two have similar postings in them as well. you obviously do not understand how Miles words things not to offend his players.

and there’s no debate this year as the Tigers prepare for Saturday’s spring game who’s been their best quarterback.

I needed that, somebody pushing me like that. It just made me go that much harder.

It’s refreshing to see someone admit that for the past three years he was not self-motivated to be a top SEC quarterback, and that he wasn’t committed enough to push himself “hard enough.”

Hopefully after baring his soul, he can start kicking some arse.
