My PS3 keeps turning off a few seconds after i turn it on.

The red light goes green/blue and then back to red.

Anyone know what the deal is?

I don't think lasting power is the reason for going to XBOX over PS3. But, both slim models of each have had less failure problems, so you're probably good either way...if you get a slim.
