Where do you like to go when you want a good burrito? Izzo's doesn't do it for me. Any other good places?

Izzo's can be guilty of this, but I had a great, plentiful meat burrito from there yesterday. You can ask them to cut back on rice or beans to help the ratio.

I never get burritos there but I find they're generous with the meat on other items like nachos, quesadillas, tacos...

I like Izzo's...I don't get the hate. You don't need 12 ounces of meat on a burrito

Tacos and Burritos Express on Sherwood has the best chicken burrito in town.

Less than $5 for a burrito with more meat than Izzo's, plus chips and salsa.

Afreaux, I've always respected your info on the Hispanic restaurant scene. I've actually found myself at a couple of places upon your recommendation.

With that said, I dug around for a menu from T and B Express and found it.

The very first item listed under "Traditional Meals" are "chicken fajitas".

In his defense...wait, in defense of Afreaux?

Er.... well, anyway, in his defense the topic is not best authentic Mexican place. The topic is good burrito in BR.

I love Izzo's. I usually go with the tacos on the grill though.

It's not Afreaux. He merely said that they have good burritos which I don't doubt. It was just funny as hell to see them list Chicken Fajitas as the first thing in the "Authentic" column.

I passed by an "Authentic" Mexican restaurant in Biloxi (they say so right on their sign), and they were advertising in the window the daily special...yup, Chicken Fajitas.

Maybe I didn't get the memo, but last I checked skirt steak is completely different from pollo.

I think Izzo's is alright. It tastes great but the prices are ridiculous. One time I got a regular burrito and added guac and mushrooms and my total ended up being like 13$ with a combo. little did they tell me they were both 1$ to add each. I'm like really? It costs you a dollar each to add that? That's the only thing that pisses me off.

I'm a fan of Zippy's forever, they don't charge for every little extra thing and get out of there less than 9/10$ total every time with a combo.

Which place doesn't charge extra for guac? Every single time I add guac they tell me it's extra at the one on campus.

I do think it's a bit more than other places but ten bucks is basically the norm at most places these days.

I've never really understood putting rice in the burrito in the first place.
