If you could bring one back, which one would you choose?

For me: Vintage 2001 Beringer.

Chateu St. Michelle 94. A delightful Washington State "picnic" wine.
Not as accessible as the Zima your date knocked back as we fratted up the late 80's, but pretty damn good.

Page 1 of the OT is loaded with wrestling threads. I thought "why not a Reisling thread?"

Quick admin changed that idea.

Anyhow, never was into white wines. I'm all about reds. Maybe one has to "grow into"whites?

FTR, never dated chicks who drank Zima. No offense to Mrs. Pimp of course.

All I remember is tons of beer funneling and a variety of jungle juice creations......the most memorable of which included Lazarini standing fully clothed in the trash can of said jungle juice, serving up the ladies like a true gentleman.

I don't do whites either.
I derisevly call them "picnic wines".
I like BIG reds.
I'm a fan of the Nebbiolo grape.
Barolo for lunch, that sort of thing.
Lazarini hit me with a piss bomb as I slept, when the Civil war broke out in 88 (?) so I won't remember him fondly.

Been appreciating Malbec grape lately.

I'll have to check out the one you mentioned. Never heard of it. Got a recommendation?

Chateau Ste Michelle "Eroica" 2004. Not Old School at all but incredibly dry and a fantastic pairing from CSM and Dr. Loosen. I still have a bottle of that and two of the 2005 left.

Sometimes when I run out of bubble gum I buy a Gewurtztraminer.
