Where to eat and stay in Los Angeles

Spending two days in Hollywood-Burbank-Pasadena-Downtown area, two days in Anaheim area, and two days in San Diego.
Where should I stay? Where should I go to eat.
Also i'm from PHX so no chains i have in AZ. And yes i will eat In and Out several times.
Dont wan't to spend more than $150 a night on hotels if possible.

Go to OT and look up NoHoTiger. She lives in Burbank and can help you with what you're looking for.
