Kentucky is a BAD matchup for OSU.

Kentucky is taller and more athletic at every position other than post.
Sullinger is better than Harrellson. No question there. He will get his.
But, Kentucky's length at the other 4 spots will cause OSU serious problems:
Liggins - 6'6"
Miller - 6'7"
Jones - 6'8"
Lamb - 6'4"
Knight - 6'4"
Who from OSU guards Miller and Jones when they post?...which they do often. 6'5" Buford? 6'5" Lighty?
Plus, UK is every bit as good of a shooting team, shooting 40% as a team from 3. The big four shooters for UK shoot it particularly well:
Lamb - 47%
Miller - 44.6%
Liggins - 40.7%
Knight - 39%
I just don't think this is as big a slam dunk for OSU as most people think.

I haven't heard anyone call this game a slam dunk for Ohio State

You have some good points...but I think age and experience play a huge part and make the difference in the end.
Will definitely be a nail biter.
ETA:
If OSU can hit its shot like the last two game I don't even think it will be that close of a game. Big if tho.

Damn, it doesnt see we have much of a chance being outmatched at 4 positions!

"Kentucky is taller and more athletic at every position other than post"
No one said anything about being outmatched, bomber. take another read before you spout off.
Is UK taller? yes
Is UK more athletic? yes
Does UK's length cause matchup problems? Possibly, yes.
That's all I said. Those are true statements.

I went out on a limb and picked KY to beat tOSU in my TD bracket
I don't really believe that... but it seemed like a possible upset so I went with it to be different
More likely tOSU wins by 10-15

Add, Every bit as good of shooters!
Taller, more athletic, and every bit as good of shooters basically means outmatched, no?
Anyway Im just fricking with ya. I think we stomp the shite out of Kentucky and Calipari personally. For crying out loud Princeton handled them.

tOSU is a bad matchup for Kentucky. I think Kentucky would have a legitimate chance against anyone in this tourney except tOSU. tOSU will dominate until the championship against Kansas, where they will still end up winning.

Vegas says it's a two possession game...which means a 1 possession game pending the intentional fouls in the last 20 seconds.
They're not always right...but they are pretty good at what they do.

I actually like the matchup for osu...Kent pg is prone to turnover and craft is an excellent defender who causes to's. Plus Kent has only one big to guard sully

Yall going to win no doubt.

Knight turns the ball over 3.08 times/game. I wouldn't say that's "prone to turnover"

Saying Kentucky is just as good of a shooting team as Ohio State

Diebs 50%
Bufford 44.4%
Lighty 43.5%
Craft 38.8%
I also noticed you generously rounded up 2 of those Kentucky players' percentages. And if there was a percentage for off the dribble shooting percentage inside the arc, Bufford would have one of the best in the nation.
eta... this years team has been breaking multiple shooting records. Diebs with big ten career threes, most threes in a big ten game, the team set consecutive made threes with 14 against wisconsin, and I think yesterday we set the record of 3's in a tournament game with 16 (the old record was 13)
oh and we shoot 42.4% from the 3 as a team, which is pretty fricking good

Lets put it like this. If OSY plays even close to what they did Sunday, UK has NO chance. Hell with any matchups.

So, saying these two teams are equal shooting teams makes you laugh??
Lamb - 47%
Miller - 44.6%
Liggins - 40.7%
Knight - 39%
Diebs 50%
Bufford 44.4%
Lighty 43.5%
Craft 38.8%
Sorry, but the numbers speak for themselves...both good shooting teams.

and if kentucky's in the game until the end, it's because OSU didn't play as well as they did yesterday and not because Kentucky is just a better team than George Mason...

Even if they do even out, assuming OSU shoots average which they have been exceeding, Sullinger is there down low.

Both good shooting teams? Yes. Kentucky every bit on Ohio State's level as a shooting team? Hell no.
eta... Also to note, Ohio State's percentages come from a conference where defense is actually played, unlike the SEC.
