What's the best place for real boiled crawfish in the Houston area? (Not talking about the boiled crawfish topped with lots of crawfish pepper!!!) Thats the only way I ever found them.

It's hard to find them, Mardi Gras has the best I've been able to find.

LA Crawfish Express in Pearland, the place boils them in seasoned water. The only place we have find that does a decent job.

Heberts Hot Tails in spring is good. They do them correctly and even have garlic and mushrooms

Kinda off topic, but HEB has live crawfish for $1.99/lb today, tomorrow, and sunday. Thinking about just getting a few pounds and cooking them in a soup pot. I'd rather do it myself than eat it from somewhere else, and just scale it down a bit.

Went and picked up some crawfish from Hebert's, crawfish were well seasoned, well soaked and clean. Frist batch I ever had in the Houston area that weren't just cake with seasoning on top of the crawfish.... I like to call dat crawfish pepper!!! The owners were very friendly(talked about dem tigers!!!) Will return for more. Thanks for the recommendation

Awesome, I picked up bugs from them yesterday also. I wish their potatoes were better and that they cooked their garlic longer
