Anyone ever buitlt some and if so how did you build them?

My dad builds his own. Pyramid traps with the 6" pvc pipe on top. I am not sure how long he cuts the wire to start. He uses 36" wide wire. It's not too hard but pretty time consuming. The best part is you have to have a 32oz bottle to make the funnels for the crawfish to go in the cage. I usually provide the empty bottles for him.

Related Question: Anyone know where I can buy some dip nets? I'd like to go try and catch some this weekend.

I use salmon and steelhead carcasses and it works good. Honestly, I think if it bleeds you will attract them. Wd-40 works good as an attracter too......shhhhhhh!

Melt.... Nasty stuff but works wonders in crawfish traps. Used alot by alligator hunters as well.

Anybody know where you can buy some of the round deepwater nets cheap? Would like to pick up another dozen, last year a dozen set me back $90.

I went to Academy today and they had all kinds of nets and traps. Not sure exactly what kind your looking for though.
I bought 2 dozen hoop nets I plan on going set tomorrow.
I'm gonna go try to find some beef melt today, or I think my parents have some old cow liver or heart in the deep freezer.
