I am very glad that I got to see the greatest bb player in college history. No one will break his scoring record!

Actually, while we're at it... we need to show some video to about half our fan base and remind them why it shouldn't be extraordinary for LSU to make it to the NCAA tournament.

Our standards really have fallen lately as far as what we will accept on the basketball court.

LSU may not be a "basketball school," but it's a school with a lot of success at basketball. The PMAC used to be packed. People used to look forward to it.

Now, it's difficult to get people to walk across the street to see an LSU basketball game. It's sad.

This did not remotely start with Trent Johnson

I don't know how it's going to be fixed when he keeps recruiting about a bunch of DIII players!

Greatness isn't solely defined by winning a championship. However, Pete Maravich won the NCAA scoring title which stands to this day and he did it when Freshmen couldn't play and without the benefit of a 3-point shot.

BTW, it's "Pistol" not Piston.

Agreed. However, TJ had better get a clue because I think he has one more year and he will be gone if things don't dramaticly improve.

No he's not. Joe Alleva has already plainly stated that TJ is not going anywhere.

People continue to say this as if it's an undisputed fact. It's not and hasn't been the case for many many years. Think 10-15.

Man, what do you expect the AD to say a this point? I am convinced that one more year like the last one and TJ is history. This simply can't continue.

This is getting pretty damn old now.
Listen, the PMAC is full when we win, and it seems like we put a good team on the floor every few years so be patient. An exciting player is all it takes to get the fans back, and we're suppose to be getting one next year. The experience of the young guys should help next year as well. Enjoy baseball season and football, b/c they're pretty f'n good! Basketball will fix itself in time and then go through the bad stuff again, so don't be surprised...

The Pistol didn't win any, but it was because of Pete the new gym was built. The house that Pete built. Now what other player did this?????????
