It makes the board more readable, and allows a person to know exactly what the thread is about without having to click on it.

If every thread had two-word subjects, the boards would suck. Usually, a sufficient subject is a combination of the key word phrase and some statement/question posted in the thread's body.

It is a simple rule that most people follow. My fellow admins agreed with me that it was a problem getting more rampant. I had found myself editing subjects to make them conform, but I don't want to do that anymore.
