I swear I saw a picture of him on a leash as a cub at an athletic event/ceremony type deal. Anyone supply it for me? Been googling and haven't found anything.

One of the older Mike's was brought to the PMAC for a BB game, not this one.

I know you got the answer you were looking for but Mike VI came to us from an animal rescue facility and was around 2 years old when we got him. I think it's called Great Cats of Indiana if I'm remembering correctly.

He was moved into his home, north of Tiger Stadium on August 25, 2007, and was introduced to the LSU community on September 1, 2007. ETA:Didn't realize you already knew that, doubt you can find one because we didn't have him, maybe look around the Indiana institute pictures or something

I think I have it somewhere. If no one posts it, I'll go look for it.

Mike V was introduced to LSU at a basketball game when he was four-months-old. The photos is in the book, "Mike the Tiger: The Roar of LSU" by Drs. David Baker and Sheldon Bivin.

what an awesome picture. i was at that game. as i recall, it was the last home game that season. at the time, student tickets were free, but were given out on a first come basis at the assembly center ticket office in advance of the game. we camped out starting on a sunday night in order to get tickets that were released wednesday morning (maybe tuesday). anyway, at some point while we were camping out, the handlers brought Mike V out there on his leash.
we had a blast out there but got a but too loud the last night (had pizza delivered, got a keg, were racing around the assembly center in an office chair, etc.) campus police came out at one point and told us to cool it or be removed.
