Yet we don't hear the cries of a selfish, all about me athlete in this case.

His "i have $80M in the bank" rank is just as bad as Latrell Sprewells "how am i supposed to feed my kids" tirade. LS got crucified, and palmer is a saint and a victim of his situation in Cincy.

My arse. Carson, youre not that good. You are every bit as part of the bengals mess as the coach, ocho, and everybody else. Youre immobile, inaccurate, and take way too many sacks. Look yourself in the mirror.

Maybe if you were a better leader, you would have stepped up to ocho and all the other nonsense on the team 3 years ago.

didn't barry sanders do pretty much the same thing with the lions? he said he'd quit if he wasn't traded. he wasn't traded, so he quit.

I don't think he's an elite QB, but he's definitely not just as much part of the mess as the rest of the organization. At least Cincy has been on the map somewhat since he got there. NBA players demand to be traded all the time and no one crucifies them.

no it's not. He's saying money doesnt matter because he has enough. LS's comment was balking at an 8 figure salary when he felt he deserved more. The comments are not even on the same level

As a Bengals fan, I want Carson out of Cincy.

However, that is an idiotic statement.

you uhhhh.....you serious? How are those 2 statements even remotely the same.

I don't blame palmer for wanting out, but I think he's a hypocritical dipshit for blasting Johnson for wanting out years ago. Still your comparison is just AWFUL, but from you I expect nothing less.

How is he a douchebag?

Through out his whole career he hasnt opened his mouth once, despite all the bullshite that has happened in cincy.

I'm a big Bengals fan and I have no reason to be mad at him for wanting to move on from the Bengals.

Not really. He makes the suprememly arrogant statement that he would play for free for another team, knowing that he can never be called to actually back that that up given the player agreement rules. Therefore, he is a douche for putting something out there knowing he will never have to bak it up. Tehrefore, I would like to see him play for the league minimum.

Two players have demanded trades from Cincy. One said something much worse than what the other did, yet only one gets crucified for it.

Not even close. Wanting to be traded happens all the time in NBA/MLB.

That team was a trainwreck and even Manning/Brady couldn't have stopped the insanity. The problem begins with the organization being a trainwreck.

If the Bengals thought this, then they'd be willing to trade him.

How is.....

as bad arse....

Carson's comment means that he has enough money and could not care less about it.

Spree's statements was idiotic and selfish as if it takes millions of dollars to feed kids.

Holy grudge.

What part of his statement was arrogant? He plays for a ownership that is incompetent as any ownership in professional sports.

Crucify the guy because he wants to win?

Makes sense.
