Anyone have any info on this? Is there some barrier or hurdle to get over? Or is it just a matter of UFC scheduling an event?

I'd love to see them back here again. Their live events/ppv's are incredible.

They talked about it a year and a half ago, but still haven't made it happen.

My guess it that it certainly will happen

Me too. I go catch the fights in BR when they are at the arena, it would be nice to have some in NOLA.

Beezy, you have any fights scheduled? Or are you focusing on school for now?

Anyone have any news on Shawn Jordan? I can't find anything online about his next fight. What is his status with Bellator?

Yeah, all the info I can find on it was from early 2009 stating UFC would likely land in New Orleans soon.

Not sure if there is some hang-up not allowing it to happen

I believe there is a 15% tax either city or state charges. So it doesn't make sense financially.
