Pros and Cons of Austin, TX

What are some pros and cons for living in Austin?

My background: I'm 23, single, and considering moving there in May. I don't smoke, but I do drink. And I'm a conservative

So basically, I'm asking if I will enjoy living there. Thanks!

If you can't enjoy Austin, you'll be miserable wherever you go. There are no cons to Austin, my friend

Most overrated city I've ever visited.

Little to no character. Good barbecue but overrated food in general.

6th Street was vastly overrated.

SEC girls are much better imo.

Bunch of hipsters with shitty weed. What the hell is the point of hippies/hipsters without killer bud?

This is the most liberal city in Texas.

I got verbally assaulted by one in the grocery line yesterday when I said "yes" after being asked if I would like a bag.

Austin's great. I have been here almost 5 years and I have zero complaints.

Good place, visit often

Went from trendy to yuppie real quick.
Food is top notch for Southwest Fusion
Downtown is very nice, visit 6th street but don't treat it like it's bourbon. They have the Gestapo.

It's pretty overrated, IMO. I think you'd still enjoy living there though.
