Either way, the kid was gonna break for Texas. It's too early to go all out for 1 kid that doesn't want to be at LSU bad enough to wait until he takes a visit. Move on.

I don't understand this. He indicates LSU is a major player for his services, plans to come down, the weather screws it up and he can't make it, he goes to Texas, and is so swept away by their inability to make a bowl game and plethora of new coaches that he commits on the spot without even another look this way?

Odd, good luck to the kid, but odd. Tough to pull kids that UT wants from them in the state but he didn't seem to fit the mold of a player that would get caught up on the Mack Brown early Junior super special offer days.

It's pretty early and things could change, but I wouldn't have felt easy about it if he had committed to LSU this early either.

Its okay guys, there are plenty of other OL that we have offered and have a good chance at getting.

Does anyone know why we held off on offering Riser?
Where we going to offer him at our junior day?

I'm actually surprised, thought he would give LSU a visit at least. But his recruitment is definitely not over. He is one mean mf'er tho, welcome to the 40

not overrated at all! Kids a beast of a guard, it appears he has a mean streak and ricky bobby wrecks the guy in front of him! It hurts but Texas insiders were quite confident on him, there are others out there though LSU will be alright.

Considering your last 2 posts on the recruiting board and use of the word "whorns" & logo by your name, you're not exactly an unbiased viewer.
