My wife picked up 4 lobster tails that were on sale, roughly 5 oz each. I've never cooked them before, so I'm looking for some ideas and help. They were frozen (hence why they are probably cheap), so this makes for a good and cheap test run.

It's just the two of us, so I'm thinking about splitting up the tails. I would like to do two of them in a traditional way. I'm guessing that means either boiling or steaming them and making a butter sauce. That's easy enough to figure out, but I would still love to hear suggestions on the best way to do this.

Where I'm really looking for help is with the other two tails. Any ideas on something I can with them besides whole tails? I'm thinking something like a lobster bisque or another side where lobster is a major ingredient, but not the only thing.

I'm a fairly good cook and I'm open to something semi-adventurous. We do live in Memphis, so fresh anything is not usually a good option.

I would love to hear some ideas...thanks!

Simple is usually best with lobsters, I would just broil them and eat with melted butter... fricking amazing

I believe they're spiny...I know they're from the Bahamas and think that usually means spiny.

Dice them up, then take them and wrap in phyllo dough along with halved cherry tomatoes, sliced red onions, quartered button mushrooms, Fresh spinach that has been wilted for a few seconds then drained. 350 for 30. Top with basil, dill beurre blanc. Sides, asparagus, brabant potatoes, broccoli.
